Cricket ACT is delighted to announce the selection of the U14 Female, U14 Male and U16 Male Development Pathway squads for the upcoming season.
This announcement marks an exciting step for these young athletes, as all players will participate in the CDC Bash Competition in their respective age groups in both T20 and Limited Overs matches.
The players will also be provided with further opportunities to engage in Master Classes throughout the summer.
In addition to their participation in the CDC Bash, the U14 girls' squad and 24 players from each male squad have been further identified to partake in a holistic 10-week development program running throughout Term 3.
This program aims to provide comprehensive training and development, encompassing various aspects of cricket, to ensure the players' growth and improvement.
The U14 squads have more opportunities ahead, with both the girls' and boys' teams set to compete in the U15 Western NSW Carnival in January 2025. This event will offer them valuable experience and exposure to higher levels of competition.
Meanwhile, the U16 boys will be testing their skills in a home-and-away series against Sydney University’s Green Shield team, presenting a significant challenge and an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities.
Cricket ACT extends its congratulations to all the selected players and looks forward to their progress, success and enjoyment in the upcoming season.
