ACT represented at National Cricket Inclusion Championships

The ACT has partnered with Tasmania to field a combined Blind and Low Vision representative team at the upcoming Cricket Australia National Cricket Inclusion Championships (NICC).

Eight players of ACT origin have been named in the 12-player squad who will travel to Brisbane to compete in the six-day tournament from January 19-24, 2025.

In addition, three female athletes from Canberra will take to the field for NSW to compete in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Women's division. Congratulations to Diana Ciuffetelli, Rona Lazo-Treloggen and Heather Mertin on their selection.

Established in 2017, the NICC includes five divisions - Blind & Low Vision Mixed, Blind & Low Vision Women’s, Cricketers with an Intellectual Disability, Deaf & Hard of Hearing Men and Deaf & Hard of Hearing Women’s.
